Arctic King Crab Fishing

The red king crab is a massive creature that can get up to two meters (about 6,5 feet!) from leg to leg. Each leg is bigger than a lobster and full of delicious, juicy crab meat. Seeing this monstrosity up close is an adventure in itself and in Kirkenes you have the unique chance to go out to the Barents Sea and help pull this beast ashore.

In Norway the king crab season lasts all year, meaning you can go on the Deadliest Catch adventure of your dreams both summer and winter. Back on land you’ll be served a proper king crab meal – the freshest crab you’ll ever come across.

The portions are truly massive and you can be rest assured that no one will go hungry.

If you are lucky, the Northern Lights could be dancing across the sky during your trip making the experience even more epic.
